A stay at Pudleston Court is about more than luxury accommodation and beautiful countryside — it is about experiencing an estate full of character.

As you explore our 50 acres of private grounds, you will discover some very special residents who have become an unforgettable part of the Pudleston experience. From elegant alpacas to colourful peacocks, every visit offers the chance to meet a few friendly faces along the way.

Our resident alpacas, affectionately known as The Pudleston Princesses, are undoubtedly the stars of the estate.

Graceful, inquisitive and always happy to welcome visitors, the Princesses can often be found grazing peacefully in their paddock, watching the world go by. Their gentle nature has made them firm favourites with guests and they are always ready for a photograph during your countryside stroll.

No member of the Pudleston family takes life more slowly than Nugget, our much-loved tortoise.

A familiar face around the estate, Nugget reminds us all to embrace the slower pace of countryside living. During the warmer months, you’ll often find him exploring his surroundings or basking in the sunshine.

Next door to Nugget’s home is Finn Cove, our specially created turtle hatchling pond.

Designed as a peaceful habitat for our younger shelled residents, Finn Cove is another hidden gem waiting to be discovered as you explore the estate. It is a quiet corner where guests can pause for a moment and enjoy watching nature at its own gentle pace.

Our charming call ducks have a home of their very own, Waddle Inn.

Purpose-built for our feathered residents, Waddle Inn is where they spend their days paddling, preening and enjoying life on the estate. Be sure to stop by during your walk to see what they are up to.

Just a short stroll away you will find Cluckington Court, home to our happy hens.

This bespoke chicken house is where our resident flock lives in comfort, adding plenty of character and countryside charm to the estate. Guests often enjoy watching them go about their daily routine from the comfort of their home.

Adding a touch of elegance to the estate are our beautiful resident peacocks.

Known for their striking plumage and unmistakable calls, these magnificent birds can often be seen wandering through the grounds, bringing colour and grandeur to Pudleston Court. If you are fortunate enough to witness one displaying its spectacular feathers, it’s a truly unforgettable sight.
